Welcome to the Harwich Peninsula u3a web site.
The Harwich Peninsula U3A serves Harwich, Dovercourt, Parkeston and the surrounding villages. It was founded in 2006 and anyone no longer in full time employment in this area is welcome to join.
Monthly meetings
We meet monthly from 2pm - 4pm on the second Tuesday of the month, excepting August, at The United Services Club with one main speaker. After a tea/coffee break, the second half will be either a presentation or update from one of the groups or a speaker from a local organisation. If neither, then it is a chance to chat to other members and make new friends. We have 150 members, and 30 interest Groups.

We also email a monthly Newsletter bulletin to all members & post to anyone without email. Please click the button for the latest one.

Membership
Membership costs £25.00 per annum from April 1st 2026 and covers all the groups you may wish to join. No qualifications are required, and Interest groups set their own agendas and work at their own comfortable pace. If you decide to join use our Contact Page for further information.
